Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing APG Truck-Division’s promotional and content strategy across digital channels, including email, social media, blog content, and forum engagement. This role follows a structured marketing calendar to ensure campaigns and content are launched accurately and on schedule, with primary ownership of email marketing execution. The role is responsible for building and deploying email campaigns, coordinating and publishing content across channels, and ensuring messaging is consistent, on-brand, and aligned with business priorities. The Marketing Manager works closely with ecommerce leadership to execute planned initiatives while maintaining a high standard of content quality and performance. Experience contributing to creative asset development is preferred but not required. The Marketing Manager tracks performance across channels, including email engagement, traffic, and conversions, and provides recommendations to improve content effectiveness, campaign execution, and overall channel performance.

Essential Functions

Execute marketing campaigns across email, social media, blog content, and forum channels based on a structured marketing calendar and direction from leadership.

Manage email marketing end-to-end, including campaign setup, build/layout, segmentation, scheduling, QA, and deployment.

Coordinate and publish content across channels, ensuring messaging is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with current promotions, product priorities, and seasonal initiatives.

Collaborate with Merchandising and leadership to ensure all campaign content reflects current offers, inventory priorities, and vendor requirements.

Maintain and optimize email templates and campaign execution standards to ensure mobile-friendly design, clean formatting, and strong deliverability.

Track and report on email and content performance, including engagement, traffic, conversion, and revenue, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Support ongoing email list management efforts, including basic segmentation, list hygiene, and targeting in partnership with leadership.

Contribute to content and creative asset development as needed, ensuring a consistent and professional brand presentation (graphic design experience preferred, not required).

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Portfolio Management, eCommerce, and Customer Service to ensure alignment with business goals and customer expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Coordinates workload across cross-functional partners to ensure channel tasks are completed accurately and on schedule, including launches, listing updates, and promotional set-up.

Reviews work for accuracy and completeness, with emphasis on fitment integrity where applicable, listing quality, compliance with channel requirements, and pricing/promo accuracy.

Supports onboarding and training for team members involved in channel operations, listing management, and promotional execution, including maintaining SOPs and process documentation.

Participates in performance feedback discussions and recommends process improvements, tooling needs, and resourcing considerations to leadership.

Requirements

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; automotive/diesel truck familiarity is strongly preferred, and experience working in a fitment-driven product environment is a plus.

3 to 6 years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace management, omni-channel operations, or digital retail management, with demonstrated ownership of performance and day-to-day execution.

Hands-on experience managing email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar, including campaign setup, segmentation, and performance tracking.

Experience working within Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms, with familiarity in managing promotions, content updates, and onsite merchandising.

Experience using Meta Business Suite (Facebook/Instagram), including scheduling posts, managing content calendars, and monitoring basic performance metrics.

Working knowledge of promotional campaign execution, including offer details, exclusions, deadlines, and post-launch QA to ensure creative and messaging are accurate across channels.

Experience using analytics and reporting to evaluate channel performance and make recommendations, including sales, conversion, margin impact, return rates, and advertising efficiency metrics where applicable.

Experience coordinating cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, inventory/operations, and other teams to execute channel priorities.

Work Environment

Remote, work-from-home position. Work is primarily performed in a home office environment using a computer and standard office equipment.

This role routinely uses typical office technology, including email, spreadsheets, ecommerce platform tools, project management systems, and communication platforms for cross-functional collaboration.

Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time, with occasional flexibility in schedule to support promotional launches, major site updates, or time-sensitive merchandising needs.

Reliable high-speed internet access and the ability to participate in virtual meetings are required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods while working at a computer.

Ability to consistently operate a computer and other standard office equipment, including keyboard, mouse, and telephone.

Ability to read, review, and analyze information on a screen, including product data, reports, and site content, with attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, including participation in virtual meetings.

Occasional ability to lift and move up to 15 pounds (e.g., laptop, monitors, or standard home office equipment).

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel is required and is expected to exceed one (1) trip per year. Travel may include visits to APG locations, vendor or partner meetings, training, and select industry events or trade shows as business needs dictate.
