The Role The Vice President Brand & Digital Marketing will provides strategic marketing leadership across all channels. Guiding paid media strategy across social platforms and retail including stilacosmetics.com, Amazon, Ulta and TikTok Shop. This role is responsible for the creation of brand assets, social media & influencer strategy to deliver outstanding brand engagement and experience. This critical role will develop and execute digital and traditional strategies, manage marketing budgets and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to assess the competitive landscape and determine business and marketplace plans inclusive of messaging and positioning to build brand awareness and measure the return on marketing investments.
Job Responsibilities
Key thought leader in developing compelling, innovative storytelling and executing an integrated marketing and communications strategy to ensure connectivity and consistency across the brand and customer touchpoints including product, digital, social, in-store, experiential, online, and print.
Own the overall TikTok Shop strategy, driving GMV growth through optimized assortment, pricing, promotions, affiliates and content.
Incorporate expert knowledge of digital media trends, social tools, and mobile technologies to drive earned media and viral reach of proposed marketing programs.
Partner with creative to develop and execute digital story telling that is on brand and appropriate for each platform in the digital eco-system.
Responsible for developing a process to coordinate marketing plans into briefs and ensure that exposure is maximized across channels and global markets.
Develop and execute go-to-market 360 product, marketing, and PR strategies.
Build a culture of accountability through leadership and example encouraging evidence-based decision making.
Anticipate and implement necessary changes to strategy and execution to support the company’s business goals through new initiatives.
Develops detailed brand strategy and digitally-led activation plans as part of the planning process.
Develop vision and strategy for the digital consumer experience that will deliver revenue goals and drive efficient customer acquisition and ROAS without sacrificing brand or long-term growth.
Oversee DTC via digital marketing planning, execution, and optimization.
Build and manage the budget for marketing, PR, sampling, and digital media.
Attract, grow, and retain talent through effective and consistent performance management, coaching and development.
Manage external agencies ensuring timelines and budgets are achieved.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
10+ years of progressive CPG marketing. Beauty or personal care marketing a plus.
Expertise in modern media and creative best practices with an emphasis on platforms such as TikTok Shop, Instagram, and owned web channels.
Entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven track record in leading and managing comprehensive strategic marketing, communications, and media relations.
Strong track record of digitally led brand marketing, building, executing, and measuring data-driven marketing programs across digital and traditional channels.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and cross-functional communication. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization.
Strong understanding of both creative and analytics.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and able to create engaging reports and presentations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
