The Texas Sports Academy is looking for a Sports Content Creator to capture live student‑athlete moments on campus and produce on‑demand short‑form videos. The role requires 4–5 hours of on‑site filming each weekday and 20–25 hrs per week of part‑time work. The content will be uploaded to TikTok and Instagram Reels on the same day.
What You Will Be Doing
Being on campus 4–5 hours every weekday to capture spontaneous moments using a mobile device.
Editing and publishing videos to TikTok and Instagram Reels the same day, optimized for each platform.
Analyzing weekly performance metrics (views, engagement, followers) to identify what works.
Adjusting hooks, formats, and content direction based on data insights.
Maintaining a consistent daily publishing rhythm.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Following a fixed content schedule created by others.
Producing multi‑day production cycles or refined content requiring extended production.
Waiting for creative clearance before publishing.
Working from a desk; the role requires field presence and mobile ready every weekday.
Basic Requirements
Established TikTok and/or Instagram Reels posting history with consistent short‑form video output.
Located in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston, TX, and available for 4–5 hours of on‑campus production each weekday, Monday‑Friday.
Comfortable working with student‑athletes on campus.
Nice‑to‑Have Requirements
Experience in athletics, youth sports, or educational settings.
Ability to recognize trend timing and adapt trending formats.
History of measurable account growth tied to a consistent publishing approach you can explain.
Benefits Part‑time position (20–25 hrs weekly) at $30 per hour, paid weekly. Requires signing an independent contractor agreement. The role is immediately available and long‑term.
