Greenspoon Marder is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing department. This is a hands‑on, collaborative role that requires an individual who excels in managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring excellent time management, attention to detail, and a strong focus on client service. The Marketing Communications Specialist will play a vital role in supporting both internal and external communications, as well as working closely with attorneys and staff across the firm’s various offices.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop and implement effective marketing communications strategies that enhance the firm’s visibility, foster business development opportunities, and support client relationships. This position requires a strong understanding of the firm’s practice areas, client base, and industry landscape to produce compelling content and communications that align with the firm’s overall objectives. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience.

Your Marketing Communications Specialist Duties And Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and distribute a variety of written materials, including press releases, client alerts, attorney biographies, blog posts, articles, and newsletters, to enhance firm visibility and thought leadership.
Assist in the creation and compilation of content for key industry rankings, nominations, and media submissions (e.g., Chambers USA, American Bar Association, Benchmark Litigation).
Manage end‑to‑end social media execution, including content creation, graphic design, and timely publishing across platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Help maintain and grow the firm’s online and print profiles, ensuring all content is current, accurate, and aligned with the firm’s branding strategy.
Provide support for proposal development, pitch materials, and RFP responses, ensuring high‑quality and tailored presentations to prospective clients.
Manage the creation, editing, and updating of marketing collateral, including practice group pages and attorney biographies, to ensure alignment with the firm’s messaging.
Conduct market research and provide analysis to support business development efforts, identifying new opportunities for the firm to engage with clients and prospects.
Develop and maintain an award and submission calendar to track and ensure timely participation in key industry awards and recognition programs.
Coordinate with other departments and regional teams to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external communications.
Provide general client service support and communication, enhancing client relationships and contributing to the firm’s business development initiatives.
Necessary Skills And Qualifications
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive content for a variety of audiences.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with design tools (Canva, etc.) is a plus.
Solid understanding of the legal industry and experience creating content that aligns with legal marketing best practices.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
Experience with business development activities and the preparation of materials for proposals, pitches, and RFPs.
Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, staff, and leadership across various regions and offices.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all communications and materials.
Knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media content for professional services firms.
Experience with CMS platforms and email marketing tools (e.g., WordPress, Vuture) is a plus.
