
NCR NASAMS - Field Service Representative (FSR)--DC

Responsibilities
The Field Service Representative (FSR) will provide maintenance and sustainment support for the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) in the National Capitol Region (NCR). Responsibilities include checking out, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and modifying system components; moving and accounting for materials, equipment and tools; setting up work sites; and keeping records within prescribed policies and procedures.
The FSR must offer support and engineering assistance at all maintenance echelons (organizational, intermediate and depot/factory), coordinate with military customers, be adaptable to changing environments, respond to emergencies, and operate independently.
Travel: CONUS (10%) travel required; International ( Qualifications
Accomplished interpersonal skills and a consummate team player.
Ability to understand technical manuals, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics to isolate and correct malfunctions.
Participation in a rotational "on call" schedule and response to emergencies.
Polished written and verbal skills and a professional demeanor.
Independent self‑starter who works reliably without supervision.
Capacity to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds and perform work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Understanding of primary cybersecurity policy information including DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework.
Assistance in enforcing cyber policies and supporting leadership reviews.
Active U.S. driver’s license.
Minimum Experience and Education
Minimum of 5 years with military power generation, electronics technician, weapons, radar, launcher, communication or fire control systems (e.g., NASAMS, SLARAAM/AMRAAM, HAWK, PATRIOT, THAAD, Sentinel, Firefinder).
DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., CompTIA Security+) prior to starting or to be obtained within six months of hire date.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Air Brakes and Manual Transmission prior to starting or to be obtained within six months.
Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date.
Advanced knowledge of the work area gained through advanced education combined with experience; may include practical knowledge of project management and RTX projects.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of related experience; 10 years of experience can substitute for a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
RF and standard cable troubleshooting and soldering.
Capability to train customers and onsite support on proper maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with overhead cranes and telescoping forklifts.
