
Construction Superintendent

Our client is seeking a growth-oriented, motivated, and detail-driven Site Superintendent to support field operations across multiple high-end outdoor living projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction management. This position serves as an entry-level step toward becoming a Project Manager. The selected candidate will gain hands‑on field experience, learn internal systems, and develop leadership and technical skills for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities Daily Site Operations
Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized job sites
Conduct daily safety and housekeeping checks
Install and maintain temporary safety controls (fencing, silt fence, etc.)
Perform small labor and punch list tasks as needed
Documentation & Reporting
Complete daily logs (manpower, progress, deliveries, site conditions)
Provide real-time updates to the Project Manager
Complete inspection checklists for quality control
Track materials and report shortages
Layout, Elevations & Field Prep
Perform site layout using plans
Set and verify elevations using laser levels
Assist with grading, excavation benchmarks, and layout verification
Trade & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate dumpsters, porta potties, and site requirements
Communicate with trade partners and provide direction on-site
Quality Assurance & Punch Work
Execute punch list items and finish tasks Professionalism & Representation
Represent our client professionally at all times
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and teams
Maintain accurate and timely information flow
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong desire to learn and grow into leadership roles
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Hands‑on and comfortable working outdoors
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on uneven terrain
Experience with site layout or laser levels is a plus
Prior construction or landscaping experience preferred
