We are seeking an experienced and driven
Electrical Operations Director
to lead and oversee electrical construction operations across commercial and data center projects in the Reno, NV region. This role is responsible for managing field operations, ensuring project execution excellence, driving safety and quality standards, and supporting business growth.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep electrical construction expertise, and a proven track record delivering complex, large‑scale projects—particularly within mission‑critical or data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day electrical construction operations across multiple commercial and data center projects
Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, superintendents, and field teams
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety policies
Collaborate with preconstruction teams on estimating, scheduling, and project planning
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
Maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and key stakeholders
Optimize labor productivity, resource allocation, and operational efficiency
Support business development efforts, including client meetings and proposal input
Ensure adherence to all electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
8–15+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or operations role
Strong experience in commercial and/or data center (mission‑critical) construction projects
Proven ability to manage multiple large‑scale projects simultaneouslyDeep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Experience with project management software and construction technologies
Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred (not required but a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
