Position Title

USAF E-7 Associate Electrical Technical Designer

Location

Tukwila, WA

Responsibilities Draft systems integration laboratory (SIL) drawings.

Coordinate changes within SIL.

Support operations, manufacturing engineering, and quality in assembly and installation of SILs.

Develop, maintain, and release electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs, or engineering documentation and data by applying company, industry, and governmental standards.

Create, develop, and maintain systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs, and assisting in identifying design discrepancies.

Support engineering system design and functionality validation activities.

Perform electrical and electronic modifications to wiring and tactical hardware as well as hardware replacement and maintenance held within un‑configured SILs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications 1+ years of engineering experience.

1+ years of experience and/or educational background in technical drafting.

Willing to work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications Active U.S. Security Clearance.

Ability to perform minor electrical and electronic modifications.

CMPRO or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system experience.

Proactive communication skillset.

Pay & Benefits

Pay range: $61,200 - $82,800. The Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
