Overview: The Asset Liability Manager will operate the bank's in-house asset liability model to analyze interest rate risk, liquidity risk, capital and financial statement forecasts.

Responsibilities

Run the asset liability model for interest rate risk, liquidity risk, capital, financial statement forecasts and funds transfer pricing (FTP).

Provide reports to and manage processes for the Asset Liability Committee, board-level committees, regulatory purposes and financial reporting.

Assist in the budgeting and strategic planning process.

Provide ad hoc analyses as needed.

Find ways to automate processes or make processes more efficient.

Conduct peer analysis.

Assist in the accounting reconciliation and SOX processes.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Computer Science degree preferred (or additional years of directly related experience, above the minimum, will be considered).

Minimum of 5 years of Asset Liability Manager related work experience at a financial institution.

Strong knowledge of asset liability software such as Empyrean.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Proficiency in or desire to learn SQL.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
