Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Brooklyn, NY, for a Financial Aid Counselor. The Financial Aid Counselor will assist students and families in navigating the financial aid process, including providing guidance on Title IV funding. Strong customer service and communication are essential to ensuring a positive experience for students and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Counseling students on financial aid eligibility
Processing financial aid applications
Maintaining regulatory compliance
Collaborating with the enrollment management team to support student success
Qualifications
Knowledge in Finance, Student Financial Aid, and Title IV regulations
Experience in Customer Service and Enrollment Management
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and student populations
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency with financial aid systems and software is preferred
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
