Job Description We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to support the Office of the CIO in a highly visible, enterprise-level environment. This role will work closely with the Portfolio Manager and senior leadership to help drive day-to-day portfolio operations, vendor management activities, and strategic IT initiatives.
This position sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and business—requiring someone who understands IT concepts at a high level while also being strong in coordination, reporting, and stakeholder communication. You will play a key role in ensuring portfolio activities run efficiently, vendor relationships are properly managed, and leadership has clear visibility into performance, risks, and financials.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, finance, and executive leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support day-to-day operations of the CIO portfolio and vendor management team
Coordinate and track SLAs, deliverables, and ongoing portfolio activities
Assist with vendor contract oversight, renewals, and performance tracking
Support legal intake processes and contract review workflows
Track vendor spend and identify financial anomalies or trends
Create reporting and dashboards using multiple data sources
Develop executive-level presentations and PowerPoint deliverables
Communicate with stakeholders across all levels, including senior leadership
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
Facilitate and coordinate meetings, updates, and project discussions
Escalate issues and support resolution in collaboration with leadership
Required Experience and Skills
3+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Portfolio Management, or similar role
Strong understanding of IT environments (applications, infrastructure, networking, security)
Experience with Vendor Management and working with third-party partners
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL framework
Experience reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) and vendor deliverables
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with ServiceNow (SPM, ITSM, SAM preferred)
Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and interface with leadership
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Nice-to-Haves
Experience reviewing contracts or working with legal teams
Experience scoping and qualifying vendor capabilities
PMP or ITIL certification
Experience in large-scale enterprise or Fortune-level environments
Experience with Visio or process mapping tools
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
