We are hiring on behalf of a rapidly growing commercial electrical contractor that is expanding significantly due to recent investment and increased project demand. The company specializes in large-scale commercial projects including data centers, multifamily residential developments, and hospitality builds, with project values exceeding $5M. Job Summary
The Commercial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial construction environments. This role requires hands-on experience with large-scale projects and the ability to work collaboratively on active job sites. Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Inspect and troubleshoot electrical components including panels, transformers, and circuit breakers Perform testing and diagnostics to ensure system functionality and safety Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations Upgrade or replace outdated electrical systems as needed Collaborate with project teams including engineers, contractors, and other trades Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times Requirements
Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician (license not required) Experience working on commercial projects valued at $5M+ preferred Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Familiarity with NEC guidelines Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work in physically demanding environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors) Strong communication and teamwork skills The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $160,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
