Full-Time

Location: Burns and Hickman Co. Quarries – Burns, TN and Bon Aqua, TN

Day Shift: 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Wages based on experience

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate operation of equipment and plant to complete production schedules set by the Manager in the most cost‑effective manner possible.

Oversee training and corporate safety procedures for operation of plant and equipment to reduce lost time due to injury.

Oversee repair of fixed plant equipment and crushers to eliminate downtime.

Assist Superintendent or Manager in applying corporate policies and procedures regarding employment, accounting for operating costs, etc.

Provide input to the operation unit business plan.

Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication preferred.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Superintendent or Manager as needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma required; some management training or experience preferred.

Knowledge of equipment used in aggregate production – both fixed plant and mobile heavy equipment.

At least 3 years experience in the aggregate materials industry or a similar field.
