Digital - Enterprise AI Product Manager (Associate)
Huron Consulting Group, Chicago, IL, United States
Associate Product Managers on the Huron +AI team are execution-focused contributors who help build, refine, and scale Huron's portfolio of AI solutions. This is an internal product role — you will work alongside senior product managers, Huron industry and practice teams, and AI transformation practitioners to develop capabilities, shape product direction, and support go‑to‑market readiness. It is designed for early‑career professionals who want to grow at the intersection of enterprise AI and product management.
Role and responsibilities
Contribute to AI product development across the lifecycle — requirements definition, user story writing, backlog management, release coordination, and continuous improvement
Support product discovery activities including stakeholder interviews across industry and practice teams, feedback synthesis, and industry trend monitoring
Partner with AI transformation teams to translate delivery insights and field learnings into product inputs, feature refinements, and roadmap considerations
Assist in UX and prototyping work — wireframes, personas, user journeys, and usability inputs — in collaboration with design and engineering counterparts
Contribute to go‑to‑market preparation: positioning inputs, feature documentation, internal communications, and enablement materials for practice and industry teams
Support build–vs–buy–vs–partner analysis and pricing model inputs for solutions in development
Maintain product artifacts including roadmaps, requirement documentation, and sprint tracking under senior direction
Develop working familiarity with enterprise AI architecture and infrastructure sufficient to collaborate effectively with technical teams
Help grow AI fluency across Huron by contributing to internal knowledge sharing, onboarding content, and practice capability materials
Support definition and tracking of product value and success metrics — partner with senior product managers to help establish clear KPIs and contribute to measuring and communicating product impact over time
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
2–4 years of experience in product management, consulting, or a related role with exposure to enterprise technology or software products
Demonstrated interest in or practical exposure to AI, machine learning, or generative AI applications in business contexts
Proficient in structured communication and presentation; able to prepare clear, well‑organized materials with direction
Foundational understanding of product management principles: user stories, backlog prioritization, roadmap inputs, and product metrics
Comfortable working cross‑functionally with engineering, design, practice, and go‑to‑market teams in a matrixed environment
Curiosity, learning orientation, and a bias toward tangible output over process for its own sake
Ability to articulate the impact of prior work, including contributing to defining success metrics, measuring outcomes, and connecting product or project efforts to business value
What you can expect
Hands‑on contribution to real AI product development inside a growing internal practice
Close collaboration with senior product managers, industry and practice leaders, and AI transformation teams across Huron
A defined growth path toward Product Manager as you build demonstrated ownership and capability
A firm small enough to give you visibility and big enough to offer meaningful scope across industries and solution areas
