As an AI Business Transformation & Design Strategist, you will be the primary visionary for Coupa’s most strategic AI‑led engagements, setting the North Star for how a customer’s procurement and finance organization will evolve from human‑led manual tasks to agentic‑led orchestration.
What You’ll Do Vision Setting & Agentic Strategy
Lead workshops to deconstruct legacy procurement workflows and identify where Coupa Agents (native or custom) can drive the highest ROI.
Help clients determine the “where” and “how” of agent deployment, deciding which processes should be fully autonomous versus human‑in‑the‑loop.
Define future‑state metrics (KPIs) that the AI transformation must achieve, ensuring alignment with board‑level goals.
Readiness & Readiness Assessment
Evaluate the customer’s AI readiness across culture, data, and process lenses.
Identify internal policy or workforce hurdles early and partner with leadership to dismantle them.
Change Management & Workforce Evolution
Advise on workforce shifts, including the creation of AI Centers of Excellence and retraining staff to manage an “AI Workforce.”
Guide customers on updating internal governance to allow for autonomous agent actions.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Act as the tone setter for the technical team, defining vision while the Agentic Architect defines the build.
Bridge the gap between the customer’s long‑term transformation goals and Coupa’s Product Roadmap.
What You Will Bring to Coupa
Deep understanding of GenAI and Agentic AI landscape.
Proficiency in Source‑to‑Pay processes and awareness of legacy pain points.
Executive presence to secure C‑Suite buy‑in and collaborate with functional leads.
10+ years of experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional digital transformations.
Preference for Coupa platform experience, but Agent‑First thinking is paramount.
Consulting pedigree from Tier‑1 management consulting or large digital transformation projects.
Track record of driving high‑value agent deployment and measurable operational efficiency gains.
Estimated pay range: $152,000 – $198,000.
