
Costing Documentation Specialist II

Purpose Statement
The Costing Documentation Specialist II is responsible for the analysis, creation, and standardization of customer documentation necessary for the Costing process. They may have more complex responsibilities such as analyzing cost variances and participating in cost control initiatives.
Key Job Accountabilities
Create clear and concise communication for the Costing Team, Business Development, Customer Management and operations with regards to documentation gaps.
Ensure costing solution follows the organization's guidelines, customer specifications, quote strategy and adheres to regulatory compliance and quality guidelines.
Interpret customer technical documentation and understand the organization's manufacturing capabilities in order to make intelligent purchase decisions.
Transform customer strategy and documentation into appropriate structure and inputs for the cost estimation and tools system.
Education & Experience Qualifications
Associate’s Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Intermediate computer skills
Intermediate decision making, problem solving skills
Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
Prioritize multiple tasks, meets deadlines and communicates shortcomings to management.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of product related BOM structure
Able to read and understand technical drawings
Physical Requirements
Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
Benefits Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $64,700.00
