Commercial HVAC Business Development Executive

to drive new commercial revenue and expand our new construction presence across the Southeast Michigan market.

This is a true hunter role focused on building strategic relationships, generating new opportunities, and securing high-value commercial projects across design-build, plan & spec, and retrofit work.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

Proactively identify, develop, and secure new commercial HVAC opportunities

Build and maintain relationships with General Contractors, developers, owners, and facility leaders

Generate and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities

Drive projects from early-stage positioning through close

Strategic Selling

Engage early in the project lifecycle (pre-design, pre-bid)

Position for design-build and negotiated work

Sell value-based solutions beyond low-bid environments

Influence project direction and decision-makers

Account Development

Identify and secure high-value, repeatable accounts

Build long-term partnerships that generate ongoing revenue

Develop strategic account plans to expand market share

Market Leadership

Establish a strong presence within the Southeast Michigan commercial construction market

Leverage relationships to create off-market and early-stage opportunities

Elevate the company’s visibility and reputation in the industry

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC sales or business development

Proven success selling within plan & spec, design-build, and retrofit/capital projects

Strong, established relationships with GCs, developers, owners, and commercial clients

Demonstrated ability to generate pipelines, close deals, and grow market share

Ability to bring immediate opportunity through existing relationships
