Program Management Senior Specialist
As a Program Management Senior Specialist at Google Operations Center, you will serve as the glue that keeps all elements of an email marketing campaign project together. You will ensure projects are well defined, delivered on time, and meet quality standards.
Base Salary $103,000 - $131,000 + bonus + benefits.
Responsibilities
Partner with product marketing managers (PMMs) in campaign ideation and intake document formulation
Collaborate with PMMs during campaign ideation, gather technical requirements, confirm feasibility, define potential execution timeline
Guide PMMs through Campaign Requirement Document creation, ensuring intake documents are completed and comprehensive for the production team
Project manage campaign development and deployment
Kick off and strategically manage campaign production with offshore teams, provide guidance during production, and manage timelines
Coordinate with Data Specialists to align data requirements with HTML development, managing minor, non‑substantive HTML updates as needed
Communicate production progress to PMMs, facilitate approval of proofs and prototypes, and implement changes after review
Flag production issues and proactively seek solutions
Manage campaign deployment in Gamma and monitor campaign health
Actively manage Gamma campaign deployments, lifecycle events (pause, activate, launch), and be the expert on Gamma campaigns
Monitor deployment health through Gamma reporting tools and delegate monitoring to relevant specialists
Troubleshoot and solve escalations
Lead resolution of issues on existing or newly deployed campaigns, identifying root causes and coordinating with stakeholders
Document issues in blameless post‑mortems, facilitate process adjustments, and mitigate future repetition
Maintain organization and communication
Conduct weekly calls with offshore production teams, attend scrums, and provide project status updates
Maintain internal project status trackers and post‑launch quality control sheets
Track accurate work progress in Asana
Drive innovation and excellence, proactively seeking process improvements (e.g., leveraging generative AI tools)
Minimum Qualifications
Overall 5+ years of experience in project management roles across multiple organizations and cross‑functional teams
2–3 years of experience with email marketing in a fast‑paced environment
Demonstrable experience with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Eloqua, Marketing Cloud, etc.
Basic familiarity with HTML sufficient for minor, non‑substantive edits (e.g., punctuation, spacing, formatting)
Strong, polished, and professional communication skills for stakeholder interaction and production team leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of marketing operations, processes, and business requirements
Proactive and curious attitude with strong problem‑solving skills
Familiarity with generative AI for email marketing content, production, and optimization
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and high project volume
