Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer‑focused Executive Assistant to support the Vice President & CMO of AWS Marketing and work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams and external partners and customers. You will bring strong organizational capabilities and a detail‑oriented approach, with the ability to maintain flexibility, composure, and a sense of humor.
You must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leader you support. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company, is critical. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, take effective action without having to know the whole picture, and have strong judgment. The individual in this role needs to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.
Over time, this person will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for new growth projects with increased responsibility and long‑term career development.
This role requires five (5) days a week in office.
Key job responsibilities
Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars.
Orchestrate complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive tasks and appointments across time zones according to their importance, urgency, and relevance, ensuring strategic alignment with business priorities.
Serve as a trusted liaison between executive leadership and key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication channels and managing sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
Execute end‑to‑end travel logistics for international and domestic trips, including complex multi‑city itineraries, client‑facing events, and team visits across corporate offices.
Lead the planning of events including staff meetings, all‑hands meetings, executive offsites, team‑building activities, and supply ordering.
Collaborate with the EA Community across AWS/AWS Marketing to drive best practices, implement solutions, and drive organizational efficiency.
Act as the main liaison and manage the organization’s space planning needs.
Develop and maintain tracking systems for critical deliverables, ensuring on‑time completion of executive and team commitments and providing regular status updates to key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of executive assistant experience.
Experience with C‑level executive calendar management.
Experience effectively managing a substantial and time‑sensitive workload.
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of executive assistant experience.
Experience with end‑to‑end project management.
Experience working in a matrixed organization.
Experience working with large global teams.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
