Position Summary The Invoicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices while supporting accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to follow through on incomplete or pending items. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential for maintaining spreadsheets and utilizing mail merge functions.
Key Responsibilities Work with Famous to process, track, and manage invoices. Monitor and follow up on incomplete orders and invoices to ensure timely resolution. Maintain accurate invoicing records and documentation.
A/P and A/R Support Assist with accounts payable tasks, including verifying vendor invoices and supporting payment processing. Support accounts receivable activities, including invoice distribution and follow-up on outstanding balances.
Documentation & Reporting Maintain and update spreadsheets to track financial or operational data. Run Word mail merge files for invoice batches, customer communications, or other recurring documents. Provide general administrative assistance related to billing and financial workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, sorting, filtering) and Microsoft Word. Ability to maintain organized and accurate spreadsheets. Experience running mail merge in Word. Strong follow-through and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with invoicing or financial systems (experience with Famous software preferred).
