Position Overview As a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual, you will have the opportunity to build your own practice and make a meaningful impact on your clients' lives—utilizing life insurance, investments, retirement, estate planning and more. You’ll work with individuals, families, and businesses to create customized financial plans, helping them achieve both short- and long-term goals. Your role will involve discovering clients' needs, offering tailored financial solutions, and maintaining long‑term relationships to ensure clients' continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, including retirement, estate, investment, insurance, and education funding strategies.
Build a client base by networking, prospecting, and building relationships in your community.
Conduct regular reviews and updates to clients' financial plans to ensure alignment with their changing goals and circumstances.
Educate clients about their financial options and the value of sound financial planning.
Stay current with financial trends, industry regulations, and best practices to provide optimal guidance to clients.
Work closely with a team of specialists and other professionals to provide holistic solutions.
Commit to personal growth through ongoing training, professional development, and mentorship opportunities.
