Leasing Consultant/Management Assistant

A full-time position is available for a Leasing/Management Assistant reporting to the Property Manager in Fall River. This individual will be the first point of contact for all site management staff and residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, communication, and marketing skills.

Responsibilities

Completing guest cards.

Provide superior customer service to residents by assisting them with site services such as parking assignments and issues, move-ins (getting keys, prepping materials), and related tasks. Responsibilities include telephone reception, initiating work orders, filing, and correspondence.

Coordinate rental activities and address residents' general concerns.

Answer telephones, direct calls, take messages, and assist callers; greet and assist visitors to the management office.

Take maintenance service requests and follow up with maintenance staff to ensure completion; handle resident complaints according to established guidelines.

Maintain resident files, lists, and other resident-related data; collect and process rent checks and prepare rent receivables reports; prepare memos, letters, and other documents.

Schedule various services and inspections related to buildings and apartments; coordinate and communicate with residents as applicable.

Order office supplies, maintain postage machines, and arrange office equipment repairs; help maintain a professional office appearance and environment.

Assist with processing of rental applications and facilitate resident activities and events; participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the manager (including recertification processing).

Use systems such as Entrata and RealPage.

Requirements

Excellent resident relations, customer service, and telephone skills.

General office skills; good verbal and written communication.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Spanish skills required.

Abilities

Ability to manage simultaneous tasks calmly and effectively.

Ability to interact with other people effectively and to learn new tasks.

Knowledge Of

Microsoft Word and Excel; business English and letter format.

Experience

Prior work experience in an office environment.

Will be required to cover the Management Office in the Property Manager’s absence.

Strong resident relations skills and ability to work with a wide variety of individuals.

Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel; ability to organize priorities and multitask.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; experience with Entrata and/or RealPage preferred.
