As a
Senior Digital Analyst , you’ll sit at the intersection of Digital and Analytics—working with paid media, email, and web data to bring clarity to performance and guide smarter strategy. You’ll help ensure our digital data is accurate, aligned, and meaningful, while translating it into insights that help our clients drive stronger results and deepen supporter engagement.

What You’ll Do with Us In this role, you’ll help ensure that our digital data is accurate, connected, and telling a clear story. You’ll work across platforms to support how data is tracked, extracted, transformed, structured, and interpreted, helping teams confidently understand performance and make informed decisions.
You’ll contribute to reporting and analysis efforts by establishing and monitoring data flows, building and updating dashboards, applying different attribution models, exploring trends across campaigns, and translating findings into actionable insights. Along the way, you’ll partner closely with Avalon’s Digital and Analytics teams by helping bridge perspectives, support and evolve measurement approaches, and continuously improve how we use data to guide strategy.
Requirements What We Need
Experience working with digital data across paid media, email, and web analytics platforms
Comfort working with structured datasets and querying data to support analysis and reporting
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau (Looker Studio or similar tools are a plus)
Ability to identify inconsistencies in data and support data quality and validation efforts
Understanding of digital attribution models, digital platform conversion credit assignment and reporting nuances
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advanced experience working with SQL or similar querying languages
Deep familiarity with using ETL tools or data ingestion platforms and ETL pipeline development
Experience with nonprofit digital fundraising or marketing performance data
Familiarity with ad servers, working with de-duplicated data and ensuring the seamless integration of this data within existing ETL tools.
Familiarity with testing methodologies, forecasting/scenario modeling, or advanced analytics approaches, including experience with multi-touch attribution or marketing mix modeling
Ability to evaluate donor and lead quality through new-to-file, retention, and ROI reporting

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
