The Senior Manager, Sports Marketing, will lead the strategy, development, and execution of our ambassador marketing program to drive brand awareness, credibility, and cultural relevance within golf and adjacent lifestyle spaces.

This role is responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class ambassador network spanning athletes, creators, industry influencers, and brand advocates while ensuring all activations align with brand positioning and long-term growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and collaborative leader who understands how to translate relationships into measurable brand impact.

Roles And Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

Develop and lead a comprehensive ambassador marketing strategy aligned with brand and business goals.

Identify and prioritize key ambassador segments, emerging talent, lifestyle creators, and industry tastemakers.

Establish clear KPIs to measure brand awareness, engagement, and ROI.

Build scalable frameworks for recruitment, onboarding, activation, and performance tracking.

Ambassador Activation and Brand Growth

Oversee ambassador campaigns, product seeding initiatives, tournament activations, and experiential moments.

Ensure ambassadors authentically represent the brand across social, events, and media opportunities.

Partner with Events, PR, Social, and Sales teams to maximize storytelling.

Leverage ambassador content and relationships to expand reach beyond the traditional golf audience.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead and mentor team members supporting ambassador marketing initiatives.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Manage budgets, contracts, and external partnerships.

Relationship Management and Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for key ambassador relationships.

Negotiate contracts and manage partnership agreements.

Communicate clearly and consistently with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Present strategy, performance insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.

Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

Ability to manage and mentor a team

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders

Highly motivated self‑starter who can meet numerous deadlines and evolving priorities

Ability to think strategically while executing tactically

Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow‑up skills

Education And Experience

7+ years of experience in sports marketing, influencer/ambassador marketing, or brand partnerships

Proven experience building and leading ambassadors or athlete marketing programs

Deep understanding of golf culture and the evolving sports/lifestyle landscape

Physical Requirements / Work Environment (if Applicable)

Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment

Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Extensive use of office equipment, including computers, calculators, copiers, fax machines, and other business‑related machines and software
