Senior Event Marketing Manager – Amazon Business Amazon Business is seeking a Senior Event Marketing Manager to own strategy and end‑to‑end execution of Amazon Business Reshape – Amazon Business's flagship annual B2B conference for procurement, finance, and technology leaders, serving 1,500+ attendees. You will manage multiple agency partners, a team of contingent workers, and collaborate across marketing, sales, product, pan‑Amazon, and executive leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Own long‑term strategy, execution, and multi‑year growth roadmap for Amazon Business Reshape in partnership with senior leadership.

Serve as primary program owner accountable for delivering a high‑quality attendee experience aligned with business goals.

Own event marketing strategy and demand generation, including audience segmentation, recruitment, and registration operations.

Author and own all event‑related written communications—business documents, leadership reviews, newsletters, and marketing materials—and build executive‑ready presentations for VP‑level audiences.

Own sponsorship strategy and execution, including revenue targets, sponsor engagement, onsite activation, and end‑to‑end operations from contracting through post‑event follow‑up.

Own event production and operational delivery, including venue selection and management, AV, onsite operations, and physical activations.

Define and own the end‑to‑end attendee journey, including session programming, networking design, and cross‑functional alignment across programming and environment design.

Own sales alignment strategy and customer meeting programs in partnership with go‑to‑market teams.

Own event performance measurement, post‑event analytics, and KPI reporting; partner with marketing technology teams on campaign structure and reporting infrastructure.

Manage multiple agency partners across production, creative, AV, registration, housing, and destination management, including sourcing, contracting, and negotiation.

Serve as program lead for the Reshape Steering Committee and GTM Committee, presenting regularly to executive stakeholders on strategy, progress, and outcomes.

Manage full event budget, including spend forecasting, PO management, accounts payable, and sponsorship/ticket revenue, maintaining accuracy and alignment to budget while upholding Amazon's frugality principles.

About the Team The AB Global Events and Experiences team is a small but mighty team building B2B event marketing programs. We are in our third year and are looking to expand the team with someone who can be strategic yet scrappy, look at the big picture while diving in on execution, and is willing to roll their sleeves up to develop customer‑obsessed events.

Basic Qualifications

Experience using data to influence business decisions.

6+ years full‑time experience managing large in‑person events/conferences.

5+ years experience sourcing, selecting, negotiating, and contracting venues, agencies, and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships.

Experience working with multiple stakeholders at various levels and in different locales to drive alignment.

Experience managing events/meetings in a global company.

Experience using analytical, marketing, and productivity tools including Oracle Business Intelligence, Salesforce, or other CRM tools, Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft SharePoint.

7+ years of event marketing or brand, program, or experiential marketing experience.

Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
