SUMMARY OF THE JOB
Liberty Bank is seeking a Marketing Cloud Administrator to be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, user support, and campaign operations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role will ensure that our marketing team has the tools, data, and platform performance they need to execute effective campaigns while staying compliant and aligned with best practices.
We’re looking for a senior resource with deep Banking and Marketing Cloud expertise and strong communication skills. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to the Marketing Team to articulate and champion design thinking, shaping Liberty’s customer journey.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administer and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform, including user roles, permissions, BU governance, and security settings
Set up and manage email sends, journeys, automations, data extensions, and segmentation
Support campaign execution by ensuring proper audience configuration, data readiness, and testing
Perform ongoing data hygiene, synchronization, and contact compliance tasks (CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR)
Monitor platform performance, error logs, and sends to ensure consistent delivery and tracking
Partner with CRM and Data teams to support integrations with Salesforce FSC, Azure DW, and COCC
Document platform configuration, campaign processes, and internal standards
Provide hands‑on support and training to marketing team members
Participate in UAT for new campaigns, journeys, and integrations
Assist with building and maintaining preference centers, suppression logic, and subscription models
Ensure adherence to Liberty Bank’s security, compliance and change management standards.
Demonstrate integrity and authenticity in your everyday interactions
Qualifications & Experience
2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration
Strong working knowledge of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio
Familiarity with AMPscript, SQL, or data extensions
Experience with campaign QA, test sends, and audience targeting
Understanding of marketing compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA)
Strong communications skills
Experience in agile development and project methodology strongly preferred
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience is required
Experience in the banking industry is strongly preferred; financial services industry or a highly regulated environment is secondary.
Certifications and Licenses
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification (or in progress)
Other Requirements
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services, including privacy and data security policies.
Ability to travel is needed to coordinate with external partners and attend industry events or training.
