Position Copywriter, DTC & E‑Commerce Creative – New York, NY.

On‑site 3x per week; reports to the VP of Creative, DTC & E‑Commerce.

Role Summary The Copywriter will be an important voice within SharkNinja’s DTC and E‑Commerce Creative team, where brand storytelling and commerce performance come together.

Partner closely with Creative, Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Product teams to drive awareness, conversion, and loyalty across direct and digital commerce channels—ensuring Shark and Ninja brands appear with clarity, consistency, and impact at every consumer touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

Write compelling, conversion‑driven copy for landing pages, product detail pages, email, paid social, digital advertising, and other direct‑to‑consumer touchpoints.

Support the development of creative concepts and copy for DTC campaigns, product launches, and always‑on commerce content across Shark and Ninja brand channels.

Translate product features and innovations into consumer‑first messaging that drives both brand love and purchase intent.

Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, copy iteration, and content production while maintaining brand voice and creative quality.

Partner with Art Directors, Designers, and Creative Ops from concept through execution, ensuring copy and creative work together seamlessly.

Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Consumer Insights to align messaging with business goals and audience signals.

Use performance data and consumer insights to refine messaging and evolve copy based on what’s working.

Help maintain brand voice consistency across DTC and e‑commerce channels for both Shark and Ninja.

Qualifications Must‑Haves

2+ years of experience as a copywriter focused on DTC, e‑commerce, or performance‑driven creative.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Linguistics, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven ability to write across multiple formats including digital advertising, email, landing pages, product detail pages, and paid social.

Experience writing copy that balances brand storytelling with conversion performance.

Working knowledge of the DTC and e‑commerce funnel and how copy drives results at each stage.

Hands‑on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for creative ideation, copy drafting, and content iteration—a requirement.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and defend creative decisions.

Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience with SEO, GEO, and AEO.

Nice‑to‑Haves

Experience within consumer products, lifestyle, home, or technology‑driven brands.

Familiarity with A/B testing and performance‑informed creative development.

Experience collaborating within in‑house creative teams or integrated agency environments.

Comfort working in highly iterative, test‑and‑learn creative models.

Salary & Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $48,800—$115,000 USD.
