Job Summary Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing material/equipment and other items from storage area and maintaining complete property records.
Duties
Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in storage area.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools and equipment and storage area.
Receives and counts stock items, and records data manually or using property management system.
Maintains accountability of center property.
Orders inventory supplies as needed.
Assists in conducting on-site property audits and reviews, including annual certifications.
Acts as a liaison with outside vendors.
Ensures all Center equipment is in good condition and functional.
Labels center equipment using identification tags or other labeling equipment.
Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors.
Keeps accurate records on the use and/or damage of property.
Recommends disposal of excess, defective and obsolete property. Issues or distributes equipment to center staff, based on requisition forms.
Keeps record of purchases and submits documentation to designated authority.
Maintains complete and accurate files and records according to center policy and procedure.
Ensures all equipment is properly maintained.
Follows the CDSS/CSS plans and procedures daily.
Adheres to required property controls, policies, and procedures.
Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulations, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.
Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.
Models, mentors and monitors all Career Success Standards.
Helps students become more employable through continuous reinforcement.
Participates in PRH mandated staff training.
Performs other duties as assigned within the individual’s scope and capabilities.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience 1‑2 years’ inventory experience preferred. A clean driving record is required.
Education High School Diploma or GED certificate required. Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations State Driver’s License.
