About the role
The Photo Editor has a "pixel-perfect" mindset and a deep understanding of how to transform raw captures into high‑end commercial assets. This role is responsible for leading a high volume of images from ingestion to export, while maintaining brand consistency. You won’t just be "fixing" photos; you will be the final architect of the image, ensuring every piece of content we release drives business results and consumer trust. Responsibilities
Execute advanced retouching, color correction, and complex multi-image compositing. Handle a high volume of images from ingestion to export, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality. Review new photography and color correct to match product samples, ensuring accuracy. Upload, tag, and organize PDP and Lifestyle assets in our Digital Asset Management system. Support internal departments on studio/product photography projects such as event photography, staff portraits, and video interviews. Maintain proper file management, accurate naming, and detailed retouching notes. Share responsibility for proper care, upkeep, and maintenance of the photo studio workspace, equipment, and supplies. Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in commercial e‑commerce photography & digital post‑production in product and lifestyle photography. Expert‑level proficiency in Capture One and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop. Knowledge of file formats, color spaces (sRGB, Adobe RGB, CMYK), and compression settings for various platforms. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to understand and articulate creative decisions. Experience with AI‑assisted editing tools and generative fill to enhance traditional workflows. Shown ability to juggle multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously while maintaining a sharp eye for detail and meeting tight deadlines. A portfolio demonstrating a range of work, from natural lifestyle edits to polished product photography. Experience working with national and/or global retail brands and seasonal timelines. Experience working within an in‑house product photography studio. Confident in expertise of studio eCommerce photography – you are a subject‑matter authority and can solve for technical issues as they arise in real time and pivot accordingly. Benefits
