Role Description Horizon Promotions is seeking a Freelance Sports Photographer for an on‑site contract role based in Albuquerque, NM, but we are looking for people who will be willing to travel, possibly 3‑4 hours, to some shooting locations. The photographer will be responsible for capturing high‑quality images during sports events, taking both action shots and behind‑the‑scenes moments. Responsibilities include setting up and operating photography equipment, editing photos for final delivery, and collaborating with the team to ensure visual content aligns with project goals. The role may also involve occasional videography tasks to support video content production.
Qualifications
Proven skills and experience in Photography and Digital Photography
Proficiency in Photography and Video Production techniques
Experience in Videography and familiarity with capturing sports action on video
Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines
Access to professional‑grade photography and videography equipment
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent is a plus
Experience with local sports or motorsports events is highly desirable, but not required
