Compensation:
The annual budgeted salary for this position is $50,000 - 60,000. Offers are made within this range and are based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Execute high-quality design work across all platforms and materials under the direction of Art Director.
Support the creation and implementation of seasonal style guidelines and campaign assets, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Design assets for all Blackhawks-owned channels, including web, email, social media, print, and in-venue materials.
Collaborate with internal teams to support projects that engage fans and promote the Blackhawks brand.
Stay current with design trends, tools, and technology, and bring fresh perspectives to the team.
Assist with photo shoots and special events, providing design support on location and in-studio as needed.
Support the Art Director with logo usage approvals and brand standards compliance.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Contribute to team brainstorms and creative development sessions.
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in a design role for an entertainment brand, creative agency, sports team/league, or related field.
Strong portfolio demonstrating solid design fundamentals, versatility across mediums, and an ability to execute creative concepts with polish and attention to detail.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and working knowledge of design tools and best practices across digital and print.
Collaborative spirit: works well with others, takes direction effectively, and contributes positively to team dynamics.
Executional excellence: understands the importance of craft and can deliver high‑quality work that meets brand standards and project requirements.
Adaptability: can juggle multiple projects, pivot when priorities shift, and maintain quality under deadline pressure.
Growth mindset: eager to learn from senior team members, receptive to feedback, and committed to developing skills.

Knowledge of hockey and passion for sports (familiarity with teams, players, and current trends is a plus).
