Specialist, Sponsorship and Brand Experience

Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, MI, United States

Are you data-obsessed and able to see value far beyond a logo lockup tied to a brand sponsorship? Do you thrive in the space where creativity meets cold, hard metrics?

Job Description The Ford Consumer Marketing team is seeking a Sponsorship & Brand Experience Specialist to join our team in Dearborn. We are looking for a self‑starter who is relentlessly focused on excellence and driven by the pursuit of “what’s next.” You will be the architect of accountability, ensuring our key sponsorships aren’t just visible, but are driving measurable business outcomes and maximizing every dollar of investment.

In this high‑visibility position, you will serve as the “central nervous system” for coordination—internally across Ford and externally with our agency teams and partners. Your mission is twofold: to ensure our sponsorship marketing initiatives are expertly coordinated and executed with precision, and to build the data‑driven frameworks that prove and improve our impact across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Maintain master project tracking systems and documentation, proactively chase down status updates from cross‑functional teams, identifying blockers, and ensuring deliverables stay on schedule from strategy approval through final execution.

Act as the guardian of our sponsorship ROI. You will obsess over the details of activation to ensure Ford is extracting maximum value from every partnership.

Transform raw data into actionable insights. You will support the team broadly in analytics, providing the why behind the what to influence future decision making.

You will lead sponsorship governance, ensuring adherence to processes, asset management protocols, and cross‑functional accountability.

Collaborate with integrated marketing teams to plan and execute experiential activations that deliver meaningful, measurable impact to the business.

Navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder environments collaborating with external agencies and internal clients, maintaining a neutral, results‑oriented stance to keep all teams in sync.

Maintain real‑time tracking and progress visibility for all programs.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

3 to 5 years of experience in brand marketing, experience in project management, preferably within integrated marketing, advertising, or agency environments supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder sponsorships.

Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast‑paced environments.

Strong facilitation and coordination skills with the ability to drive accountability without direct authority, serving as a neutral party across competing priorities.

Experience with project management tools and systems.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly, chase updates diplomatically, and elevate issues appropriately.

Integrated marketing knowledge with understanding of how creative, media, CRM, digital, and retail channels interconnect to drive value and program performance.

Problem‑solving agility with the ability to identify blockers, propose solutions, and keep projects moving forward despite obstacles.

Comfort operating in client environments with professionalism, discretion, and the ability to act as an embedded team member.

Additional Experience (Nice to Have)

Experience specifically within the automotive industry or with large‑scale sports/entertainment sponsorships.

Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, or Google Looker Studio).

Experience managing large‑scale event logistics or on‑site experiential activations.

A background in financial tracking or budget management related to marketing investments.

Benefits

Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage

Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp‑up programs, subsidized back‑up child care and more

Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more

Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases

Tuition assistance

Established and active employee resource groups

Paid time off for individual and team community service

A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day

Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.

Compensation: This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600 to $144,900, and a salary grade 8 ranges from $99,100 to $166,200. Final determination of salary grade will be based on the candidate's skills and experience.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
