Summary
The Executive Events and Calendar Analyst is responsible for creating and managing a centralized executive event and travel calendar that enables strategic and balanced leadership presence across all regions. The role aggregates and analyzes multiple data sources—including executive and corporate event calendars—to create an enterprise-wide engagement and event strategy for executives that aligns to leadership priorities and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Analysis & Recommendations
Collect, consolidate, and analyze enterprise-wide calendar inputs—including executive calendars, flight plans, corporate events, and cultural moments—to optimize leadership presence across Huntington’s footprint.
Recommend leadership travel plans and engagement opportunities based on regional ownership, strategic priorities, and market needs.
Ensure leadership market visits are balanced across groups and regions, and aligned with enterprise goals.
Centralized Calendar Creation & Management
Build and maintain a functioning online, centralized executive event and travel calendar.
Establish and manage the formal process for collecting and verifying leadership travel plans.
Continuously update the calendar to reflect new events, flight plans, schedule changes, and market priorities.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner closely with Leadership Team Executive Assistants, segment leaders, CORE Enterprise Culture Team, Events Team, and Corporate Communications to ensure travel and event alignment.
Understand the strategy and goals behind executive market visits and corporate events—as well as the priorities and messaging that those events are designed to support.
Provide insights to event planners on how leadership availability impacts event location selection.
Own the end-to-end development of the centralized event calendar, including structure, governance, visibility rules, and maintenance.
Simplify complex sets of data into actionable, easy-to-understand insights for leaders and event planners.
Introduce scalable processes that ensure ongoing accuracy and strategic alignment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years experience in data analytics, business strategy, or program management
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, program management, or related field is preferred (or equivalent experiences)
Financial services experience
Demonstrated business acumen and professionalism to work directly with executive team members and senior leaders
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large amounts of calendar, event, and travel data
Ability to simplify complex, multisource information
Experience organizing, managing, or governing executive calendars or similar centralized systems
Working knowledge of basic event operations and enterprise planning
Experience using scheduling and workflow tools (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook integrations, Smartsheet, Workfront)
Experience in Chief of Staff, Business Analyst, Strategy Analyst, or Executive Operations roles
Familiarity with enterprise event strategy or engagement programs.
Ability to recognize strategic implications of travel, timing, and leadership presence.
Strong relationship-building and influence without authority.
Forward-thinking mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
