We are looking for a
Mechanical Piping Foreman
candidate to join our Mechanical and Division team on base at
Hurlburt Field, FL and surrounding areas .
Mechanical Piping Foremen
are responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all pipefitting and plumbing construction activities, assigned crews, and subcontractors on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work within project requirements, targeted budget, and schedule, in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. This position may also assist the Superintendent as required with other scopes of work.
Job Summary RQC, LLC. has a national presence across the United States with current projects spanning coast to coast. As a full‑service Design‑Build company, we specialize in fast‑track new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.
Courses in construction management, plumbing or pipefitting trade school, etc. are preferred.
Two or more years of work experience as a pipefitting/plumbing Foreman running pipefitting crews on projects of at least $400,000 (commercial or industrial) is required.
Four or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience at a journey‑level mechanical pipefitter in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting is preferred. Government, military, or large commercial construction experience and work in the design‑build industry are highly desirable.
Computer literacy (Outlook) is preferred. Training can be provided.
Specific software literacy (BIM) is preferred. Training can be provided.
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30‑hour Certifications, EM‑385, and STS are required. Training can be provided.
