A well-established regional bank with a strong presence in the Northeast is seeking to add a Senior Credit Analyst to its Commercial Real Estate team. Responsibilities
Underwrite new and existing CRE loans with sweet spot ranging anywhere from $5MM-$25MM.
Perform detailed credit analysis including property cash-flow modeling and guarantee analysis.
Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda, including risk assessment, strengths/weaknesses, and structure recommendations.
Evaluate sponsor strength through review of liquidity, net worth, contingent liabilities, and track record.
Assess collateral quality and secondary sources of repayment, including valuation and liquidation analysis.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial real estate credit analysis or underwriting.
Familiarity with credit policy, risk rating methodologies, and loan approval processes.
Strong understanding of CRE fundamentals, including cash flow analysis, DSCR, LTV, and loan structuring.
