Job Summary And Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, calibrates, logs, and administers radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing a variety of Nuclear Medicine/Nuclear Cardiology procedures. On call duties are necessary for those working in this position. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates Gamma Camera imaging equipment, computers, and other isotopes sensitive equipment to obtain representation or measurement or isotope concentration in specific body areas/organs.

This position requires providing care/service to critically ill through rehabilitating patients, pediatric through geriatric population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Mary Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Mary Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan.

Job Requirements

At least one year full time work experience or clinical internship in an acute care setting.

Current Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with either ARRT or NMTCB.

Current Venipuncture Certificate.

Associate Degree.

Hiring/Sign-on bonus eligible.

Pay Range $63.25 - $74.42 /hour
