Position Title: Technical Sales Representative
Pay Rate: $94,900 - $126,500 (variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards; eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.)

The Job You Will Perform
Responsible for the resolution of significant technical, scientific, or engineering issues that affect the sales installation and utilization of organization products, and/or services.
Coordinates appropriate course of action with senior technical leaders.
Responsible for providing insights for development of customer Value Propositions that will create IP market advantage.
Provide timely feedback on market, customer, and competitive activity influencing the market.
Participates in development and has responsibility for delivery of financial solutions.
Acts as a technical expert in troubleshooting the technical aspects of product sales, manufacturing, and development.
Activities involve visiting company manufacturing and customer facilities to identify and resolve technical product manufacturing issues and, in some organizations, the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment sales.
Serves as a resource for other internal departments and may be sought out by others for advice and solutions.
Identifies and initiates problem resolution process improvement and serves as primary resource to company and customer operations.
The Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge You Will Bring
BS/BA in Related Field
8+ years’ experience with packaging applications
Maintenance or engineering education or completion of advanced trade certification training is a plus
Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus
