BRG’s Economics, Disputes & Investigations (EDI) practice is seeking an experienced consultant.
Overview The role involves leading project workstreams, providing strategic guidance, developing analytical frameworks, and mentoring junior staff. The qualified candidate will have experience addressing real-world applied economics questions, particularly in intellectual property and financial analysis. Responsibilities include design of economic, statistical, and financial analysis; modeling of financial data and markets; managing client relationships; developing and presenting client deliverables; managing junior staff; quality control; industry research; and business expansion.
Qualifications
Master’s degree focused on quantitative research (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline). ABD or PhDs considered for the Economist track.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in antitrust & competition litigation matters.
Demonstrated understanding and ability to explain economic, financial, accounting concepts and quantitative/qualitative analysis methods.
Strong leadership, communication skills with both junior and senior staff.
Experience working with large data sets in Excel and/or statistical analysis programs (SAS, Stata, R, etc.).
Track record of creating strategic visions and implementing strategies.
Desire to work within a highly collaborative team environment.
Clear interest in consulting with broader vision of generating business and becoming known as an expert in the field.
Compensation Senior Associate – $70,000 – $135,000 per year Consultant – $70,000 – $150,000 per year
