Job Description Join Baxter Aerospace and shape the future of communication for military aircraft. Baxter Aerospace is developing next generation beyond line of sight communication systems that take advantage of low earth orbit high bandwidth satellite communication systems. This position will involve field support of installed systems, customer interactions, gathering and sharing feedback on these systems. Ideal candidate will have familiarity with aircraft network communication, red/black data networks, Link16, SCIF protocols, and troubleshooting. Background as a JICO, JDNO, OTH‑T, or C4I preferred. Candidate must be clearance eligible.
Duties
Set up, manage, and diagnose issues with computer networks related to payload data distribution.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to satellite communication systems, red/black data networks, VPNs, and firewalls in support of operational communications.
Travel to domestic and international customer sites, including hangars, flight lines, and airbases.
Guide and train customer maintenance personnel on correct repair procedures, upgrades, and inspections.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and technical support needs.
Communicate clearly and effectively with pilots, ground crews, and engineering staff to resolve operational issues.
Relay field data and customer feedback to engineering and product development teams to drive product improvements.
Skills
Project Management, Avionics Repair Troubleshooting/Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience with communication systems common to DoD operations including RF, networking, and software systems.
Field support experience with commercial, business, or military aircraft.
Security Clearance eligible.
Proactive, self‑directed, and customer‑focused.
Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours when required.
Passion for our mission to improve communication capabilities across all branches of defense.
Location Mountain Home Air Force Base
Expected Hours/Schedule Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.
