Responsibilities

Teller:

Meet or exceed monthly performance metrics by identifying and recommending products and services (Credit Cards, CDs, IRAs, Loans) to help members reach financial goals. Service members on the teller line with monetary transactions, account maintenance, ownership changes, wire requests, IRA transactions, automatic transfers, disputes, and serve as notary public.

Relationship Banker:

Maintain and deepen member relationships through consultative analysis and recommendation of Desert Financial products (personal/business accounts, wealth management services, personal/auto loans/HELOC, IRA accounts). Strategically build and optimize referral network and pipeline to meet or exceed monthly performance metrics through outbound calls, community outreach, and networking.

Available during branch hours: Monday‑Friday 9 AM–7 PM, Saturday 9 AM–2 PM.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

1+ year of success in an incentive‑driven environment meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Exemplary organizational, problem‑solving, and verbal & written communication skills.

Excellent time‑management skills.

Strong mathematical and logical skills.

Ability to influence and build rapport quickly.

Nationwide Mortgage Lending System (NMLS) and Notary Public Certifications or the willingness to obtain them through training.

Preferred Qualifications

Cash handling experience.

Previous financial institution experience.
