Salary: $83,500 with $6,500 bonus potential
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY Lead the strategy and execution of our international power mobility product portfolio, with a focus on the EU, UK, and other global markets. Collaborate with internal product teams to adapt product requirements, configurations, documentation, and compliance with international needs, ensuring all offerings meet regulatory and country-specific standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Manage multiple international product initiatives and ensure completion of various tasks and requirements in fulfilling Design Protocol and Research & Development (R&D) processes
Collaborate with Power Base, Power Seat, and Drive Controls Product Managers to adapt core product platforms for international market requirements
Define market requirements, including regulatory, reimbursement, electrical, environmental, language, labeling, transportation, and certification standards
Ensure adherence to international design control policies and coordinate the planning and execution of new products and revisions
Ensure compliance with applicable international regulations including MDR (EU), UKCA, CE Marking, ISO standards, and country-specific requirements
Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams to develop and maintain technical documentation, risk management files, and Design History Files (DHF)
Present international product strategies, launch plans, cost impacts, and feasibility analyses to R&D and Executive Leadership
Lead cross-functional interactions including Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Reimbursement, Education, Sourcing, and International Sales teams
Provide regular global market intelligence on global industry trends, competition, and regulatory changes
Ensure Sales and Technical Support teams are educated on international product differences prior to launch
Oversee documentation processes from concept to commercialization
Develop and follow international project plans and timelines
Communicate scope, schedule, cost, or compliance modifications to stakeholders
Collaborate with Engineering to meet region-specific electrical and environmental standards (RoHS, REACH, WEEE)
Support international sourcing and supply chain initiatives
Identify process improvements related to global product development
Mentor and train Project Coordinators and Project Engineers as needed
Attend international trade shows, distributor meetings, and regulatory audits as needed
Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Strong understanding of international regulatory frameworks
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS
Strong working knowledge of rehab power mobility products preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 7 years of experience managing projects from initiation through delivery (scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk)
At least 1 year of experience in product management or engineering working with medical devices or electro-mechanical systems
At least 1 year of experience working with international markets, regulatory compliance, or global product launches
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of successful experience supporting CE Marking, UKCA certification, or international registrations
At least 1 year of successful experience working in a fast-paced R&D or manufacturing environment
Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Business, or related technical field, OR an Associate Degree with at least 8 years of the Required Experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 12 years of the Required Experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Master's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or related field preferred
Project Management Professional certification preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
