
Assistant Property Manager

We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team and help us uphold our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
Assist with overall management and decision making for each property within your portfolio
Manage tenants, vacant spaces, common areas, building structure and grounds
Assist with managing and overseeing tenant move‑ins and move‑outs, including tenant improvement renovations
Prepare monthly variance reports and executive summaries
Assist with the preparation of CAM estimates and CAM reconciliations
Inspect overall properties on a regular basis, including vacant units to ensure a well‑kept, professional appearance
Review and code invoices for your portfolio
Manage work order requests for the portfolio and work with maintenance staff to ensure maintenance issues are resolved timely and correctly
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past‑due rent
Obtain bids for maintenance and repairs
Complete lease abstracts
Oversee contractors and review/approve contracts
Communicate with tenants to resolve tenant issues/complaints
Review and send monthly rent statements to tenants
Interpret lease language and enforce legal terms of lease
Other duties as necessary
Qualifications and Skills
Exceptional customer service skills with a professional, friendly attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Detail oriented, organized, and reliable
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Local travel within the St. Louis area required; mileage reimbursement provided
