Role As

Corporate Senior Tax Manager

(with potential to step in as Associate Director depending on your experience), you will take ownership of a portfolio of complex international corporate clients and play a key role in driving the firm's continued growth in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of corporate clients, including European Private Equity, Venture Capital and Real Estate funds, US corporations, and foreign corporations with a US nexus

Leading client engagements end-to-end, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and advisory quality

Advising on complex cross-border tax structures, including CFCs, PFICs, and US inbound/outbound planning

Scheduling and managing professionals efficiently across engagements

Identifying opportunities for cross-selling, tax planning and consulting projects

Supporting Directors with strategic firm initiatives, proposals and ad hoc assignments

Building and nurturing relationships in the marketplace through networking, professional activities and external speaking engagements

Sharing technical knowledge proactively and contributing to team development

Mentoring and supporting junior professionals in their growth

Representing the firm positively, in line with its core values

Requirements

8–15 years of US corporate tax experience, with a strong focus on partnership work and ideally cross-border elements (CFCs, PFICs)

Background at a Big 4 or international boutique firm serving global clients

US CPA preferred, though not essential

Proficiency in Excel and major tax preparation software (CCH Axcess / GoSystem preferred)

Proven leadership and mentoring ability

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Organised, resilient under pressure and deadline‑driven

Fluent in English; additional languages (German, French) are a strong plus

Relocation to Switzerland This role is based on‑site in Zurich or Geneva, Switzerland and requires relocation. The firm is experienced in supporting international hires through the process and can assist with Swiss work permit requirements where needed.
