
Associate Asset Manager

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate Asset Management to oversee the operational and financial performance of our renewable energy portfolio, including solar and energy storage assets. This role is responsible for maximizing asset value through effective financial management, performance optimization, and risk mitigation across the lifecycle of each project.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of renewable energy assets to ensure optimal financial and operational performance
Monitor and analyze asset performance, including energy production, revenue, and expenses
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Oversee compliance with project agreements (PPAs, leases, O&M contracts, financing agreements)
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) and external stakeholders
Identify and implement strategies to improve asset efficiency and profitability
Manage reporting requirements for lenders, investors, and senior management
Track and mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risks
Support acquisitions, divestitures, and refinancing activities as needed
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field
MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
Experience:
2–4+ years of experience in renewable energy operations, engineering, or technical asset management
Hands‑on experience with solar or battery storage assets
Experience working with SCADA systems and performance monitoring platforms
Familiarity with energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and PPA structures
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple assets and priorities simultaneously
Results‑driven with a focus on value creation
Strong organizational and project management skills
