Job Description We are looking for a
Credit Specialist
to join our Rexel team in Beaverton, OR.
The Credit Specialist is responsible for the setup and maintenance of customer accounts. Provides customer service to internal and external customers by providing reports, invoices, proof of deliveries, credit cards, etc. Additionally, provides regional credit teams with administrative support such as lien waivers, additional ship-to setup, address changes, and preliminary notice preparation.
What You’ll Do
Set up new customer accounts
Maintain a log of all new accounts established for tracking purposes
Provide regular maintenance on all systems for changes to customer accounts
Establish, monitor, and maintain customer credit files
Order D&B and other trade reports as needed
Assist customers with invoice copies, proof of deliveries, short‑paid invoices, and credit card payments as needed
Provide customer service and follow‑up for related entity
Order releases for related entity
Complete project work and back up for other team members
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications What You’ll Need
1+ years of related experience
Experience working in a credit department preferably in the distribution industry
High School or GED - Required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to multi‑task and be flexible to changing demands
Ability to work in multiple systems
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment efficiently
Ability to manage, prioritize, and meet deadlines of multiple priorities in a short time frame
Ability to provide a high level of customer service in all verbal and written communication
Team player with a positive approach to work and to customers
Detail‑oriented
Self‑starter who, once trained, can work without constant supervision
Excellent organizational skills
Good listening skills
Physical Demands
Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position – Constantly – at least 51%
Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location – Frequently – 21% to 50%
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery – Constantly – at least 51%
Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co‑workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions – Constantly – at least 51%
