We are seeking security‑cleared Pipefitters, Electricians, Painters, and Shipwrights that have experience working in some type of shipyard, naval, or military environment. These roles will support maintenance and repair projects on the submarines at the King Bay Base in Kings Bay, GA.
Location: King Bay, GA
Duration: W2 Contract through the end of 2026 with likely extension into 2027
Responsibilities
Painter/Blaster (C7 or C12 Certification Required)
Painting and putting protective coating on marine vessels
Must be able to wear safety harness and work on scaffolds/platforms
Performing abrasive blasting on marine vessels
Pay Rate: $30-36/HR
Piping (Fabricator)
Fabricate, install, modify, and repair piping/hoses aboard submarines and in shop settings
Conduct hydrostatic and operational testing of piping systems
Troubleshoot, groom, and restore shipboard piping systems to operational readiness
Pay Rate: $36-43/HR
Electrical/Electronics Technician
Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, and test electrical/electronics systems, circuits, and equipment
Install wireways and cabling; disconnect/reconnect wiring
Perform topside electrical work including cabling in tanks, voids, and sails
Install hull fittings, penetrators, and tank level indicators
Fiber Optics license preferred but not required
Pay Rate: $35-41/HR
Shipwright
Construct keel blocking, cradles, shoring, cribbing, staging, and other support structures
Erect/dismantle scaffolding and temporary platforms aboard ships
Align navigation lights, binnacle, and compasses; establish benchmarks
Inspect staging regularly for safety compliance Pay Rate: $30-35/HR
