
Director of Regulatory Reporting and Stress Testing

A globally recognized banking organization is looking for a Director of Regulatory Risk Reporting to support a major build-out of its U.S. risk and regulatory infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of Risk, Finance, and Technology, owning a highly visible regulatory deliverable tied to CCAR / FR Y-14 reporting.
This individual will own and rebuild the Schedule L reporting framework, standing up scalable processes, strengthening controls, and driving end-to-end production for both quarterly and annual stress testing cycles. The role includes direct interaction with senior stakeholders and regulatory-facing teams.
Responsibilities
Own full lifecycle production of Schedule L reporting across quarterly and annual regulatory submissions Build and enhance a robust reporting framework (data sourcing, calculation logic, controls, and governance) Stand up a scalable operating model to support ongoing stress testing and regulatory reporting requirements Partner closely with Technology to improve data infrastructure, automation, and reporting pipelines Drive cross-functional coordination across Risk, Finance, and Front Office for inputs, reviews, and sign-offs Establish and enforce data governance, validation, and issue remediation protocols Act as SME for Schedule L, including methodology, assumptions, and regulatory expectations Interface with regulators, internal audit, and exam teams, addressing findings and driving remediation efforts Qualifications
10+ years within risk management, regulatory reporting, or capital stress testing in a large banking environment Deep expertise in FR Y-14 (A/Q), specifically Schedule L Strong understanding of CCAR, capital planning, and regulatory reporting frameworks Proven experience building or enhancing reporting infrastructure and governance frameworks Track record of working across Risk, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders Experience managing regulatory exams, audit interactions, and remediation programs Strong project management skills with the ability to operate in complex, matrixed organizations
