Organic Growth Manager
Talkiatry, New York, NY, United States
Talkiatry is seeking a hands‑on SEO & AEO Specialist to be the execution engine behind our Search Everywhere Optimization strategy. This is a builder role—you’ll be on the keyboard every day, shipping optimizations, running experiments, and operationalizing workflows that increase patient discovery across traditional and emerging search surfaces: Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, video search, social platforms, and healthcare directories like Psychology Today and Healthgrades.
You will work closely with Editorial, Growth, and Web teams to move fast, test constantly, and translate organic search into real patient acquisition. With 800+ healthcare providers and a growing base of clinically authoritative content, you’ll have the raw material to make a meaningful impact—and the autonomy to make it happen. This is not a strategy-and-delegate role. We’re looking for someone who loves being in the weeds, ships work weekly, and is always finding ways to use AI tools and automation to do more with less.
You Will
Execute on‑page and technical SEO: Implement optimizations across metadata, content structure, internal linking, schema markup, and site health—hands‑on.
Own content production workflows: Brief, edit, and QA content built for both traditional SERP rankings and answer‑engine visibility (featured snippets, AI overviews, LLM citations).
Build repeatable pipelines that scale output without sacrificing quality.
Build and run AEO experiments: Actively test ways to influence how Talkiatry is represented in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and other LLM‑powered answer surfaces.
Monitor and report on organic performance: Build and maintain dashboards that track leading and lagging metrics—impressions, rankings, traffic, and downstream patient conversions—and surface actionable insights to the team.
Conduct ongoing keyword and competitive research: Identify gaps in topical coverage and prioritize opportunities based on patient acquisition potential, not just traffic volume.
Run technical audits and implement fixes: Use tools like Screaming Frog, Airops, Profound, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console to surface crawl issues, site speed problems, and indexability gaps—and push them to resolution.
Turn workflows into automations: When you find a repeatable SEO or AEO task, systematize it. Use AI tools and scripting to reduce manual lift and increase throughput across the team.
Stay ahead of the curve: Track Google core updates, AEO tactics, SERP/UI shifts, and changes to how LLMs retrieve and cite sources. Bring what you learn back to the team with a point of view.
You Have
3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in SEO, growth, or a related role—with a portfolio of work that shows you drive outcomes, not just activity.
Experience with LLM visibility measurement tools (Profound, Scrunch, or similar).
Demonstrated strong foundation, relative to novelty in gen AI, for optimizing LLM‑generated responses for a brand, product, or topic—you’ve experimented, understand prompt‑engineering, how LLMs cite, and have instincts on what moves the needle.
Strong working knowledge of on‑page, off‑page, and technical SEO fundamentals.
Experience building or contributing to AI‑backed content workflows or automations in the past few months—not just familiarity, actual reps.
Comfort with analytics tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, GA4) and ideally BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Omni, or similar) to self‑serve on performance data.
A strong intuition for test design—you know how to set up a meaningful experiment, isolate variables, and read results without waiting to be told.
A self‑learner mentality: you don’t wait for training, embrace test & learn, you find the best practitioner on X/Twitter, read the case study, and figure it out.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with LLM APIs and comfort prompting models to assist in SEO/AEO workflows.
Basic web development skills (HTML/CSS), or willingness to get there fast.
Healthcare or regulated‑industry SEO experience.
