
User Experience Designer

Our client is adding two entry-level UI/UX Designers to its Customer Experience design team. These roles sit within a collaborative design organization alongside UX Architects, product owners, and engineering — offering real exposure to enterprise-scale design challenges from day one. Both positions carry a strong opportunity to convert to full‑time employment.
UI/UX Designer (Level 1 & Level 2) Location: Peoria, IL Contract: 12 Months What you’ll be doing:
Design intuitive interfaces with a strong visual design sensibility, including micro‑interactions and AI‑adaptive elements
Create wireframes, prototypes, and UX artifacts (personas, journey maps, storyboards) in Figma or similar tools
Collaborate with UX Architects, product owners, and engineers to deliver cohesive digital experiences
Contribute to design guidelines and help maintain consistency across the product ecosystem
Apply human‑centered design principles to complex enterprise software environments
Engage directly with internal stakeholders including dealers and end customers
Level 1 – AI Interface & Production
AI‑assistance interface guidance and training design
Production design, wireframing, and prototyping
Partner with product owners on UI delivery
Level 2 – Cross‑functional collaboration
Collaborate with a team of 3 production designers
Work alongside 10 UX Architects and engineering
Broader exposure to end‑to‑end design execution
Qualifications:
Recent bachelor’s graduate with 0–1 year of UX/UI design experience
Hands‑on portfolio demonstrating visual design ability and design thinking
Adaptive learner — comfortable working with AI tools and evolving workflows
Strong communicator who thrives in structured, fast‑paced team environments
Peoria‑based or willing to relocate at own expense (fully on‑site role)
Looking to develop a long‑term career in UX design — not just a short‑term contract
