
Bid Specialist

This role drives the end-to-end proposal and RFP process, partnering closely with Sales, Design, and Project teams to deliver accurate, competitive submissions. The position owns pricing strategy, coordinates vendor relationships, and ensures all bids are complete, compliant, and aligned with client requirements. This individual also helps maintain workflow across departments to support successful project execution from bid through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RFP planning, strategy discussions, and final submissions
Develop pricing approaches and manage vendor quotes and negotiations
Support Sales and Design with product details, specifications, and order accuracy
Coordinate project activity across internal teams to keep work moving efficiently
Oversee budgeting, quoting, and order revisions throughout the sales cycle
Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and contract compliance prior to order close
Stay engaged during project execution to address scope changes and resolve issues
Contribute to process improvements, quality standards, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or related field
~5+ years in sales support, project coordination, or customer-facing operations
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience with contract furniture or similar products
Background in pricing strategy, discounting, or vendor management
Familiarity with tools such as Khameleon, Project Spec, or Adobe Acrobat
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
